• Anti-Kick-In Security: Come with 1” & 3” torx screws made of hardened steel. 3-Inch length to penetrate through the door jamb/trim and reach deep into the door frame, providing a strong, secure hold that helps prevent doors from being kicked open. Fix problem that screw couldn't tighten. If just for common security, you can install the 1” screw.
• Reinforced Screws - The 3-inch screw adopts a double cut type-17 design to cut through the wood fibers when driven in, making the screw drive in more smoothly, preventing the wood from cracking the screw from snapping off.
• Standard Size: Applicable to standard door strike openings on the door frame. Standard size and shape for no need to cut the jamb for matching. Direct replacement for any latch strike with screw holes spaced 1-5/8”.
• Shim Plates Included: Comes with two stainless steel shim plates for clearance adjustment. Install with the shim/spacer plates to fix the problem that door won’t latch cause by seasonal ground movement or door shrinking. Secure the worn strike slot.
• Reinforce the Oversized/Aged Screw Hole - Comes with three dowels to strengthen the screw holes (if needed). Fix the problem that the screw hole is oversized and the screw won’t tighten. Solution to fill the old screw hole and drill new pilot hole for small adjustment. You can fill the screw hole directly or apply glue to the wood dowels to secure them.
